Are you facing runny-noses, toilet training, car pooling, or is your child experiencing separation anxiety from you? Do you feel guilty taking personal time for yourself? Well, you are not alone. Mothers with young children may feel the stress of isolation, depression, or disconnection from family and friends during this time in their lives. Let's face it, daily life with small children can sometimes be "a high-maintenance struggle". Therefore, one way to take time for you as a woman is to join a mothers' group where support, laughter and the sharing of motherhood stories is fun and rejuvenating.
So, think about joining us at an informational meeting to create a Mom's Connection group for mothers with preschool and school-aged children, January 23, at 9:30 a.m. Southport United Methodist Church, 1947 E. Southport Road, Indianapolis. Membership at The Journey or Southport United Methodist Church is not required.
Childcare will be provided for this informational meeting as well as all future meetings.
